Guess What??



Totally Random:  Happy Monday everyone!  Guess what?  So I have to write 11 things about myself so here it goes…
1.       I love to scrapbook and love everything cricut.  I own a cricut expressions, gypsy, and cricut imagine.
2.       I hate to exercise but love results that I get from doing it.
3.      I was born and raised in Houston Texas.
4.     I share a birthday (oct.24th) with my twin sister, my dad, and my uncle.
5.      My favorite holiday is Christmas only because I love to decorate and make the house look all festive. And I may or may not enjoy listening to Christmas music in the department stores.
6.     My favorite seasons are Fall (I love when the trees change color ) and Spring ( perfect weather not too hot and not too cold)
7.     I love couponing I get a rush at the register when I save big.
8.      I love scary movies.
9.      The Backstreet Boys, O-Town, and New kids on the Block are still my fave boy bands ( don’t judge me)
10.  I like to sing and dance in the shower

Healthy Me: So I’m back on the wagon ladies. I have been doing awesome in my workouts and three days last week I even did an extra workout  yaaay me J  Okay so I haven’t lost any weight and  Im not sure about inches because I didn’t take them. I’ve been eating well and I feel great.  This week I’m on week 2 of Ripped in 30 (I hate it by the way) and I’m gonna do Leslie Sansone walk at home and maybe a zumba class. I did RI30 today along with Blogilates (YouTube it) melt away your muffin top workout. There are several workouts to choose from, I choose this one because my stomach is a hater and refuses to get flat and sexy for me.  The time has finally come for me to go shopping. I have put it off long enough and I don’t have any clothes to wear except for pair of jeans from 8yrs ago (oh don’t try to act like I’m the only one that has clothes that old.) So I’m going to H&M, Forever 21, Express, and Kholes . I’m not buying too much because I have 10lbs to lose but just enough to get me through winter. I’m gonna achieve this by buying 5 great pair of jeans in different styles and lots of cute tops and accessories to switch up my look. Have a great week Divas.

Quick Update

Totally Random:  Hello Hookstars! Yes it’s Friday and I’m in a totally awesome mood today. So here is a quick update. I have decided to start once a month cooking (I know right?!) Well I have been thinking about freezing meals off and on for the past year and have decided that starting November that I would just dive right in. I have been on Pintrest and Once a Month Mom and I have a few recipes to try out. Starting out I’m only going to cook enough meals to freeze for two weeks (baby steps) and if I totally love it I will cook a whole month of meals the next time.  Is it bad that even though I’m home all day I hate cooking… for some weird reason I feel like it’s such an inconvenience for me. Oh and a friend invited me to go thrift shopping with her. Umm I’m not sure if I will like it but she finds awesome stuff all the time so…we shall see how it goes.
Healthy Me:  So as you already know I’m now a stay at home mom, with that being said I have lost my motivation to workout. I am kid free from 8:20-3:00 and I just can seem to find the motivation to workout. I know I have no excuse. So far I worked out twice last week and once this week.  That’s right ladies I feel off the wagon, but starting next week it’s on. I printed and filled in my workout calendar and bought stickers. I’m going to do Ripped in 30 as my morning workout and walk or run for my afternoon workout. I have been able to maintain my weight which is currently 142.2  my goal is to be 130 by Christmas. I just have to get off my lazy ass and move. Have a great weekend!

My Week

Totally Random:  Well it’s been a busy week for me. I’m now a stay at home mom and my coworkers gave me a going away dinner. I got lots of flowers, a cake, a $100 gift card to the spa, $50 gift card to Target, $50 gift card for Applebee’s, and a  $100 mall gift card. I wasn’t expecting anything but the dinner so I was shocked that I got such awesome gifts. I feel like even though I’m at home, I’m very busy with “mommy duties” that I don’t have the time to do all the projects that I pinned on Pintress. I’m going to make a calendar and come up with a routine that way I can actually get a little down time before the kiddies come home from school. Over the weekend I pinned a lot of Halloween games and decorations on Pintress for the kid’s party. I’m so excited it’s going to be awesome! I hired a balloon guy that also does a magic show. My hubby fixed his sons car so he is doing 1 1/2hrs for free Heck Yea!!!! 
Healthy Me: Okay so as you know I tried out pole aerobics this week. I took three classes and let me tell you, it’s not as easy as it looks. Pole dancing takes a lot of upper body strength and I was so sore afterwards.  Maybe I’m not coordinated enough but I had trouble keeping up and felt so outta place.  Those bitches were working that pole like they were getting paid for it, they made it look so easy and there I was looking like the biggest dork ever. I could not catch on for nothing. I’m not sure if I’m gonna giving it another try or just find something new to try. Have a great week Hookstars!
